[Clam-devel] Choosing default ALSA device

Having two cards in my system I have tried unsuccessfully to have
SMSTools and Annotator choose the default card selected in ALSA. It
turns out that the "offending" code is in ALSAAudioDevice.cxx:324

The only way around it that I had was to hardcode my "default" device
which turns out to be plughw:1,0. But, is there a way to return whatever
the user has configured as default in ALSA itself?
