I'm not quite sure if the code is ready for that... the spectrogram isn't
really displaying anything quite yet.  But it's a hack of existing code that
does display a spectrogram, so you might be able to figure something out
based on that merit... or maybe I'll have more functional code checked in by
the time you commit your existing code.

that's a great idea-- i'm away for the weekend (busiest. summer. ever.)  so
I won't be IRC-able until monday (or really late sunday european time, so
let's just say monday later afternoon euro-time).  I'll look for you around
then.
