Well the problem, you are right is portaudio. Either you dont have it on the 
sandbox or you have an old version (must be 19, not 18). Could you explain 
your portaudio setup?

Windows build is work in progress, but not mingw32. I really would like a lot 
migrating mingw32, so, please keep trying. Maybe later we could give you more 
clues.
