Some brief context: Ferran is a UPF student who has just started working
with the BarcelonaMedia-audio team -- that is, with me and David, among
others. To get familiar with CLAM, and to fill a missing gap, Ferran is
writing a new version of file reader/writer processings.
The new processings are ment to be *much* more simple (in terms of
design and code size) than the current AudioFile I/O infrastructure and
will offer more options (seeking, writing formats...).
