Yes I can reproduce the problem here! Inserting the Dj Eq (by Steve
Harris) in clam NE produces a nasty dirty sound (specially on extreme
filter levels) while the same ladspa sounds fine in other hosts like
ardour.

And actually I've checked that other ladspas such as Sine Oscillator
also misbehaves in NE.

It looks like a problem in the ladspa wrapper or in the
port/audio-stream implementation. I'll try to have a look at it this
week. Any help on debugging this will be appreciated.

As a side note, clam devs at barcelona-media are working on new schema
for audio passing through ports (passing and reusing audio buffers)
which will make clam more efficient.
However this fix should not wait for the new design.
