Hi Xavier,<br><br>The conference organizer recommended creating a birds-of-a-feather (BOF) session on the general topic of "open source audio" (which is scheduled for Sat, Feb 21,8pm-9pm, c.f. <a href="http://scale7x.socallinuxexpo.org/conference-info/birds-of-a-feather">http://scale7x.socallinuxexpo.org/conference-info/birds-of-a-feather</a> ). <br>
<br>Since I've never been to the BOF sessions, it's hard to say what it
will be like. It should be much less work than the booth, which
would require standing around in one place for 2 days. You can tell your
friends at UCSB about it, and about the conference in general, but I
probably won't need too much help since it's only 1hr and I should
probably leave time for other people that may bring in some other

Unfortunately all the students that I had in UCSB who had some CLAM experience are no longer there. Still, I might be able to get somebody with basic Linux audio knowledge to come. I guess if you are going to be running the show, having somebody to back you up would help, wouldn't it?<br>

Sure if you have any suggestions about what to demo, let me know. When I show clam to friends, I usually show them the network editor. I guess I can show a little of each of the clam tools, then how to make a simple processing to show the programming aspects.<br>

The conference organizer suggested the "birds of a feather" sessions if I didn't have enough people to run a booth. The birds of a feather sessions seem to be informal sessions for special topics, like linux audio. <br>
