The 's' in the header name stands for "single-precision floating point numbers version."
Depending on the definition of fftw_real type you have two different libs - one where the type is a ANSI-C float datatype, and another one where it is double (since C does not offer any generic programming facilities).
In Debian there are two different packages to handle this: libsfftw-dev and libfftw-dev - maybe someone has noticed this already in Ark Linux ( or maybe not ).
