[CLAM] running CLAM on OS X 10.4

Hi,
      Just trying to run the CLAM binaries on 10.4.0, I've installed  
all the libraries and header files but the executables quit  
immediately on startup. Any advice? Do I need to update to 10.4.5, do  
I need the latest Quicktime? I have an unfortunate problem that I  
have to stick with Quicktime 7.0.0 because later versions are  
incompatible with MATLAB version 13.

  Any hints appreciated; couldn't find anything that helped me from  
the mailing list archives. Perhaps I have to compile specifically for  
my machine, or install some of the libraries independently from their  
own distros?
